- Call only coverage with 1:3 call ratio
- 10 - 15 patients per shift with 10 admissions
- General CV/thoracic surgery including CABG and valve procedures
- Advanced procedures: TAVR, LVAD, and congenital defect repairs
- Both inpatient and outpatient rounding required
- 20-minute call response time with 20 phone consults per day
- Open and endoscopic procedures including lung resection
- Permanent pacemaker and AICD placement required
